Tony Stark is the complete playboy who also happens to be an engineering genius. While in Afghanistan demonstrating a new missile he’s captured and wounded. His captors want him to assemble a missile for them but instead he creates an armored suit and a means to prevent his death from the shrapnel left in his chest by the attack. He uses the armored suit to escape. Back in the U.S. he announces his company will cease making weapons and he begins work on an updated armored suit only to find that Obadiah Stane, his second in command at Stark industries has been selling Stark weapons to the insurgents. He uses his new suit to return to Afghanistan to destroy the arms and then to stop Shane from misusing his research

توني ستارك هة الشاب المستهتر بالكاملُ الذي هو أيضاً عبقري هندسة. بينما هو في أفغانستان يقوم بتجربة قذيفة جديدة يتم أْسُره. آسروه يامروه بتركيب قذيفة لهم لكن بدلاً مِن ذلك يقوم ببناء  بدلة مقاومة مسلّحةً تمَنْع موته من الشضيَّة  في صدره التي اصيب بها بالهجوم. يقوم باستخدام البدلة مقاومة المسلّحةَ للهُرُوب.في الولايات المتّحدة يعلن ان شركته ستتوقف عن صنع الأسلحة و يبدأ بالعمل على صنع بدلة مسلّحةِ ليكتشف ان مساعده يقوم ببيع الاسلحة للمقاتلين في افغانستان .يقوم باستخدام بدلته للعَودة إلى أفغانستان لتَحْطيم الأسلحة وبعد ذلك لمَنْع مساعده من إسَاْءة إستعمال ابحاثه

الفيلم صراحة كتير حلو من ناحية التكنولوجيا البصرية و الاخراج , القصة كتير محبوكة بطريقة حلوة و بتبين كيف صار الرجل الحديدي…..يلي بنقص الفيلم هو زيادة الاكشن, الاكشن بالفيلم كانت فقط بالمراحل الاخيرة بالفيلو و هادا بزكرني بسوبرمان و سبايدرمان و فانتاستك فور…….و لكن الفيلم يحضر في السينما و بقوة
